John (my son) shot a nontypical 8x6 buck with 2 drop tines last Sunday (left one). He was stoked!

Wow awesome job to your son for getting the buck!
Wow! That is truly a trophy. My hunting was absolutely horrible this year and I actually saw so many deer while running that I am sure I was doing something wrong. With my hunting that is.

I have not been able to hunt in the last few years, but this makes me want to get back into it.
WOW! that is a huge buck... well all I ever see is like baby deers (is that right?! ha ha) and so that looks huge!
Looks like a nice set of 'backstraps'! Those are going to be awesome on the grill!!! What time do you want me over for dinner?!
Its a buck that men are drooling over. He was even offered $$$ for it. Apparently, men hunt a lifetime for a buck this size. So John is a very lucky boy. :) We are going to have it European mounted, which is the skull and rack.
