Looking ahead to the new year, I'm wondering how it is my year will go. Will it be filled with happiness, with wasted time, with good fortune, and free of injury so I can complete all my running and cycling goals? The future is full of unknowns, the "out of my controls" and then there are knowns and the events I can control. Right now, I'm deciding to focus only on what I can control, happiness, blessings, family, friends, and the goals I want to accomplish.
I am confident that 2009 is going to be a GREAT year! Here are my goals for 2009:
- Be an 11. {What is an 11 you ask? Tomorrow's post.}
- Complete all my scheduled events. {see sidebar}
- Get a leadership job. {i.e. Assistant Principal, Technology Coordinator, Athletic Director}
- Take the GRE. {I don't like tests, but I need it to be accepted into a PhD program}
- Increase focus on and time with family.
- Lower my body fat percentage. {goal is 22%}
- Grow my photography business. {STUDIO 2J}

looks like 2009 will be an amazing year for you! The unknowns are inevitable, but sounds like you have control over the important stuff :) Happy New Year!
Best of luck in 2009! 11 on a scale of 1 to 10....???
Some very good goals for personal growth. Very insightful.
Of all your awesome goals...this'll be the one I'll comment on.
Take the GRE at a Sylvan learning center on the computer...it was waaaaay better than pencil/paper/bubble tests, but it requires sorta a different test-taking strategy. Princeton Review has the best review book for this...it's all about beating the test (sad, but true).
You're going to have a great year!
