Nikemom,

Motivation comes from a variety of places and by the list of followers which I'm listed as one and linked on blog, you seem to have connected with others. Although Valentine's day passed, I have a little story, very abbreviated, to share which may motivate others.

Walking into a Councilman's office, I met a radiant beautiful woman, actually the sun shone through the window causing a glow about her, but nonetheless, she mentioned she was a "runner". With that, I mentioned I ran marathons, although it was a number of years ago and a few pounds, and we arranged for a date. This all occurred three or four years ago when I recommitted myself to running and committed myself to her -- we were married two years ago in April and are living happily ever after. (Oh yea, approaching my best shape in my life and first triathlon in July and about a dozen marathons.)

Over this week-end, Karen just created her blog: wwww.sheridesabike.com which features bicycle commuting, fashion and her political thoughts. (It's in its infancy.)

Keep up the good work/training!
